World of Bears

Sorry this page is a little slow, but we do have 18,000 teddies to show off... if we didnt the teddies would have endless squabbles deciding who should have their picture taken.

This new store opened on the 31st July 2004. This store is a little bit different to the usual small teddy bear shops, and is the first of its kind in the country, and has fastly achieved the reputation of being the UK’s largest specialist soft toy store located over three levels/floors.

Let me take you for a walk through the store.

After entering the front show room from the high street, being drawn in by an amazing moving window displays, you will be drawn through an alcove to the main display area

located towards the back of the shop, as you walk through the alcove your breath will draw "WOW", this inner showroom is huge, but then it has to be in order to house "shops within a shop" for Steiff, Hermann Teddy Original, Merrythought, Deans, Russ Berrie and TY. There will be a huge corner just for baby. As you spin round with amazement, looking over the life size Giraffes you will be drawn to the third area which is dedicated to the Boyds range, "The Boyds Attic" is bigger than most bear shops and will be the host the largest display of Boyds in the country.
