Merrythought Limited Edition London 2012 Olympic Games Commerative Teddy Bear in Presentation Box. This wonderful, fully jointed, Limited Edition Teddy Bear of only 2012 pieces worldwide has been designed and handmade in England by Britains oldest remaining teddy bear factory - Merrythought. It has been based on a classic Merrythought design from 1948 - the year London last hosted the Olympic games. This delightful bear stands 25cm tall and is made from the finest, softest, textured gold mohair. His paw pads are light brown. The left paw pad features the 2012 London Olympic logo embroidered onto it in green with white. The right has the Merrythought made in England cotton tag, which is stitched onto every Merrythought teddy. He has slightly cupped ears, shiny round brown eyes and a hand stitched black nose and mouth. To complete his look he wears a blue satin ribbon tied in a bow around his neck. He comes with his own hand numbered name tag in a bespoke London 2012 black lidded presentation box with gold accents. A fantastic bear to immortalise such a mementos event hosted here in England. Sponge clean only. This bear is intended for collectors only and as such is unsuitable for a child under 36 months due to the nature of the mohair fabric. If giving to a child, please remove all hang tags and removable items to avoid any possible choking hazard.
