Steiff EAN 654398 30cm Fully Jointed, L/E "Children in need" Teddy Bear "Pudsey". "Pudsey" is a UK Exclusive for 2009 and Limited to just 2,009 pieces. He comes boxed with his own certificate. This friendly bear has been made in the image of the mascot for the "Children in need charity" which has an annual fund raising event. For every bear sold a donation of £30.00 will benefit the charity. "Pudsey" is made from the finest sunny yellow mohair with matching felted wool paw pads. On his right paw his name has been embroidered in black. A white cotton bandage with primary coloured dots has been tied over his head covering his right eye. It does not deflect from the charm of his open cheery face. His uncovered black twinkling eye is enhanced by a hand stitched eyebrow. His nose and smiling mouth have also been lovingly hand stitched. A truly fun piece, with so much meaning behind it - he makes a great addition to any collection or as a thoughtful gift. He comes with Steiffs trademark "button in the ear" with white tag and red print, surface washable. This collector?s item is not a toy as defined in the European directive (2009/48/EC) on toy safety.
