Q. How do I select shipping A. For Credit/Debit card payments as you check out one the pages is Shipping, select the delivery method you require, and press nect. If paying via PAYPAL after you returned to our site from PAYPAL you will be able to select shipping method before final confirming any change, and then confirming the order..
Q. How do I return an item ? A. If youve changed your mind about keeping your purchase, please return it, at your cost, in its original condition with proof of purchase and well exchange or refund it. Unless faulty, this should be within 30 days of receiving your order. By original condition, wed expect this to mean that youve kept packaging and labels, and that the item and packaging is undamaged and unused. Please see our Returns Page for full details.
Q. Do you have voucher / discount codes ? A. We do not offer any voucher or discount codes, unfortunetly there is a lot of false advertising by code sites claiming to have latest deals for us, we are not affiliated to them or pay them any fees, they purely do this to direct you to national chains where they earn fees. As a Small Family Owned Business we try to take action but are mostly ignored.
Q. I placed an order and havent received a confirmation email A. Please double check your junk/spam folders, ensure @worldofbears.com is on your white list, and ensure you completely checked out to the receipt page, if paying by paypal you will return to worldofbears.com for final confirmation
Q. Where is my item ? A. If you have received a shipping notification email, additional details are in this email, including estimated time of arrivals. Some parcels will not fit into letter boxes, so you may get a while you are out card to re-organise delivery when you are in. Please note you will get shipped emails in the evenings and at weekends, post is collected on working days only. The tracking information will appear in late evening of the day that the parcels are collected.
Q. Tracking shows it has been delivered, but I dont know where it is ? If signed for, do you recognise the name or signature of the person who signed for it? The signature will be provided by the person who accepted the delivery and not always the person on the address label. If the item was sent to your home, ask anyone else living there if they accepted the delivery. Please also check if the item has been left with a neighbour, or in your designated Safeplace if you have one. If the item was sent to your work address, check with the post room and your colleagues to see if someone accepted the delivery. If you bought the item online, check the shipping address was correct.
Q. Will you provide a valuation for my bear? A. We offer valuations for insurance purposes on Steiff bears for a fee. We do not offer valuations on other ranges, or provide a tracing service, we advise to try ebay to see market sold rates.
Q. Do you know where I can get my bear repaired A. There is a Teddy Bear Hospital in Lyme Regus, Dorset, please note this is not affiliated to us in any way, so please make direct contact.
Q. Could I have a charity donation please? A. There are many worthwhile causes, we receive tens of requests per day, and have decided to focus our support on the Somerset Air Ambulance.
Q. Can I pre-order a bear? Yes, if available on line just order the bear, please note if using PAYPAL you will be paying in full, if credit card (recommended), the amount is pre-authorised, and we will physically take the monies on dispatch. Alternately just email or call us to go on a reserve list, we will let you know when its in, and upon payment in full we will dispatch the item.
Q. Can I put a deposit down? We do not require deposits to reserver a bear.
Q. Do you offer layaway? We do not offer layaway, PAYPAL do offer interest free options subject to status, and offer when you spend a minimum amount
Q. Poorly Bear? If a problem occurs in loving your bear in the first month from receipt, please contact us regarding repair, replacement, or refund.
For loved bears owned upto six months from receipt, where there is a manufacturer fault, as opposed to being loved, we will endeavour to repair the item, or provide a replacement if the repair is ineffective. Please do not hesitate to contact us for further information.
For loved bears that have been owned over six months that develop a problem we suggest using a Teddy Bear Hospital or Steiff if collectible, or for a cuddly bear a local seamstress, or a family friend who is great at sewing.
