In 1940 Hanna Barbera released an animated duo incased in slapstick comedy and mischievous mayhem. It was Tom and Jerry, the lovable twosome with their complicated cat and mouse relationship, of friend or foe. They have come along way since the beginning ... 163 short films, 5 spin-off shows, plus various feature length films. In that time, they have inspired and enchanted several generations, forever leaving their mark, on cinema history.

For 2016, the fabulous artisans at Steiff, have woven their magic once again, with this masterful interpretation of Hanna Barberas beloved Tom cat.

Tom is 33cm tall, with a turnable head and movable shoulders. He has been sewn from three luxurious mohairs - cream, grey and pale grey, with pink plush for his inner ears and tongue. His overall look is animated, including his famous, tufty jowls (this time in wool felt), with his wide eyed, open mouthed expression. His large oval eyes have been embroidered, with his emotive eyebrows in a happy place, plus a sweet, hand stitched nose and acrylic whiskers. He really is a treasure!

This wonderful creation is in collaboration with TM and Warner Bros Inc. He is a Worldwide Limited Edition of just, 2,000 pieces and will come to you boxed, with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
