TY

TY Inc was started by Ty Warner in 1991. He produced, good quality small teddies and animals at pocket money prices with a difference. They were filled with ‘beans’ rather than the usual, traditional stuffing. They became highly collectable and much sought after, with the Beanie Baby craze reaching an all-time high in the late ’90’s.

Soon other products arrived including Beanie Buddies and Attic Babies. After the turn of the millennium, TY began producing Licensed products, such as Sponge Bob, Garfield and the Mr Men as well as some of their own designs, including Beanie Boos, which proved to be exceptionally popular and collectable too.

The Beanies themselves are crafted from vibrant, patterned and sometimes sparkly plushes, with a must-have squidgy tum, plus a label with their name and birth date. (unless a licensed product).

Colourful, fun and most of all – soft, Ty’s Beanies are still as popular today, being collected by children and adults alike, with an ever growing range number to collect.
