Meet Olive, an adorable addition to the Canterbury Bears’ Dressed Bears collection. Created in a natural, earthy colour palette, she is designed to bring timeless charm to any bear collection or home.
Handcrafted from sparse coffee coloured mohair, Olive features olive green ultra-suede paw pads that beautifully complement her rich, natural tones. She has shiny black safety-locking eyes and a hand-embroidered black square nose, giving her a classic character.
Olive is five-way jointed with Canterbury Bears’ hand-stamped wooden joints and wears a stone coloured coat, fully lined with a green spring floral cotton fabric and finished with a matching hankie. The coat fastens with a traditional wooden button, completing her beautifully coordinated outfit.
The sparse coffee coloured mohair is one of Canterbury Bears’ personal favourites, creating a naturally weathered appearance that gives each bear the character of a cherished old friend. With its comforting coffee tones, varying shades of brown, and slightly sparse, straight pile, this fabric captures the familiar feeling of a bear that has been loved for a lifetime while remaining brand new.
