Superb quality and finish
Called in shop in Cheddar Gorge on a wet October afternoon when the whole area was very quiet and doing little trade. We wanted to look at the Steiff bear we were planning to purchase for our third grandchild ( we had bought the other two grandchildren Steiff bears as well- bit of a family tradition). It was in stock at a price of over £136 from memory. However on-line there was a discounted price advertised of £125 with free delivery. The shop staff point blank refused to sell it to us at the lower price! So we went outside the shop, went on the Internet and purchased it online. So....the business lost a substantial sale on a quiet afternoon and then they had to pay the postage to send it out....crazy!!! So much for face to face customer service!
Fun item for Christmas Day, BUT....not sure who is going to get it - Grandma or Granddaughter (she's only one!).
