This Italian actress was known not only for her achieved talent but for being one of the best known sex symbols at the time. It is the gorgeous (Sophia) Loren and she has been lovingly designed by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris for Charlie Bears.
Loren is a 39 cm / 15.5″, fully jointed, character bear, with an open-mouthed ‘giggler’ expression. She has been sewn from a luxuriously dense mohair and sumptuous alpaca in baby-pink and white, with tactile paws, including flat soles so she can stand independently. Endearing white enhanced, glossy black eyes and a cute hand stitched pink nose, both ‘smile’ above her contagious grin, with delicately applied colour shading bringing definition and charm to her beguiling face, whilst being part-bean filled, results in a good weight and that must-have, snugly, cuddly feel. To finish, a knitted patch scarf in mottled pink and grey, plus cream (featuring golden thread) with silk tassel ends and button decoration at the knot. This is mirrored in her long-tailed cap with the addition of grey and dusky-pink (also interwoven with metallic gold thread).
