Don’t be surprised if your breath is taken away as you enter either of these shops. There is something suitable for everyone, from young to old, collectible to cuddly soft toys and something for everyone’s budget.
Sooty was as charming as you might expect and, and in most respects, it was made to Steiffs' usual high quality. Unfortunately one of the eyes did have a tiny flaw and, as the bear was intended to be given as a Christmas gift, I felt we couldn't accept the original. However, Elaine was extremely kind and helpful and, when I explained the problem, arranged for an immediate replacement to be sent (which was fine).
