🐶 Dog Friendly Policy 🧸
At World of Bears / The Gorge Bear Co, we adore all things cuddly — and that includes our four-legged friends! 🐾
We’re proud to be a dog-friendly store, welcoming well-behaved dogs, including Assistance Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs, to visit with their humans.
However, as a small, busy teddy bear shop filled with excitable children (and adults!), we ask all visitors to please respect a few simple guidelines to help keep everyone safe and comfortable:
💛 Our Dog-Friendly Guidelines
Assistance Dogs and Emotional Support Dogs are always welcome.
Other friendly dogs are also welcome at the discretion of staff.
Please ensure your dog is:
🦮 On a short lead at all times (no extendable leads, please), or carried.
🐾 Under control and comfortable around noise, screaming, running, fast movement, children, crowds, toys, large bears and confined spaces.
🚫 Not left unattended inside the store.
If your dog shows signs of distress, barking, or jumping up, our interest in the bears, we may kindly ask you to step outside for a little break — our bears can be a bit overwhelming sometimes!
Please be mindful that not everyone is confident around dogs, and not all dogs are comfortable with other dogs. Give others space to browse comfortably.
🧹 Accidents happen — but please let a team member know straight away so we provide materials for you to clean up. Please note customers are responsible and liable for any accidents, damage, or incidents caused by their dogs while on the premises.

Our bears love visitors of all kinds, but they do prefer calm paws and wagging tails over wild ones! Thank you for helping us make our store a safe, happy, and welcoming space for everyone — humans and hounds alike. 💛
