Teddy Bears have been with us for a long time, so it’s only natural that through the years we have seen makers come and go, whilst others have remained for the long haul. Many ‘old’ bears look a little worse for wear, but that’s their charm, telling of a life much loved and cuddled, whilst others have remained pristine, not quite aloof, but in need of that much needed care. These are classed as Antique/ Vintage Bears.
Over time there have been many wonderful and talented makers, not only British but German and American too (to name a few), so we may be lucky enough to offer to you some wonderful examples of genuine old bears, as and when they arise.

Beautifully soft and gorgeous looking cuddly toy. I hadn't been aware of the Steiff bears for newborns previously, but I'm in love with this one. Would definitely buy as gifts for people (and probably get more for my own!)
