Replica’s are copies of pre-exisiting pieces found or recently recovered, some within the Steiff archives themselves! Here at the World of Bears, we are exceptionally lucky to have a fabulous back catalogue of Replica Bears that are / were available at Steiff retailers throughout the world.
Below you will find history in the making, with the different designs and patterns used through the ages, highlighting the development of the Teddy Bear. Some are exceptionally rare, such as ‘Purzel’ the somersaulting bear or the 1951 Musical Teddy Bear with, push tummy mechanism. Some pieces are from more recent times, such as the adorably wee 1924 piece with tummy squeaker from 2015, whilst the 1926 Teddy Bear Clown was released in 1986!!.

Very efficient arrived on time and exactly what we expected thankyou
Excellent service - Elaine was willing to order in the bear I was after, and kept me updated. Although the bear was delayed (no fault of World of Bears), he was well packaged and arrived with me a couple of days later.I'd give 10 stars if I could!
Got really confused with the ordering - my fault not theirs, but Wayne was wonderfully helpful and the bear arrived in London before I did. Brilliant service. Sweet little bear, but his eyes were covered in fur - needed a bit of trimming I thought.
