Meet Gregory, the medium-sized bear in the much-loved Canterbury Bears original collection. Designed by John Blackburn in 1979, this traditional bear has remained a cherished part of the Canterbury Bears range ever since.
Handcrafted from 100% pure royal gold curly mohair, Gregory features soft fawn ultra-suede paw pads, shiny black safety-locking eyes, and a black hand-embroidered nose, giving him a classic and endearing expression.
Gregory is five-way jointed with Canterbury Bears’ hand-stamped wooden joints and softly filled with recyclable materials. He also has a weighted bag in his tummy, creating a wonderful tactile feel. To complete his timeless appearance, he wears a double-sided red satin bow around his neck.
The royal gold curly mohair is Canterbury Bears’ traditional mohair, combining a rich golden colour with an excellent curl to create an exquisite bear. Like all of the fabrics used in Canterbury Bears’ bear making, this mohair is of the highest quality.
This medium-sized Gregory measures 31cm standing, from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet.
