Rose is an elegant Canterbury Bears teddy bear, measuring approximately 30cm from head to paw. She is crafted from dense, long-pile mohair in a beautifully muted, pale dusty-rose pink, with the fur carefully trimmed shorter around her muzzle. Two black eyes and a brown embroidered nose and mouth give her a sweet, traditional expression, while muted purple suede-like paw pads complement her soft colour palette.
Rose is beautifully accessorised with a classic faux pearl necklace and a dusty-purple satin ribbon bow. Nestled into the bow is a small arrangement of artificial dried-look rosebuds, adding a romantic floral detail that suits both her name and her delicate vintage-inspired colouring.
Rose is five-way jointed and is part of a limited edition of just 300 pieces. Canterbury Bears limited editions are individually numbered and signed on their foot paws; on this bear, the original ink has faded considerably with age, leaving the number and signature almost completely indistinguishable. This listing is for the style of bear; where we have more than one in stock, the bear you receive may have a different limited edition number from the one pictured.
Made from mohair, Rose is a charming Canterbury Bears collector’s bear, with her dusty pink and purple tones, pearl necklace and floral detailing giving her an especially graceful character. She is a collector’s item suitable for ages 14+.
Approx size: 30 (cm)
Suitable for: Collector

Superb character from Beatrix Potter'so stories.
Lovely quality item and replaced a 5 year old teddy my daughter was attached too so I couldn’t be happier she was devastated when she lost it!
The bear is superb. Shipping was good but the price was iffy for the size of the bear and other markets I'd seen it at.
A beautiful soft bear, with unusual and pretty pink fur. Well made. I am delighted with Edith.
