Being one of the famous Wright Brothers, Wilbur certainly cemented his name firmly in time, as being an aviation pioneer, whilst also being a member of the popular Hatty series. Orville has been lovingly designed by Isabelle Lee with Charlotte Morris, for Charlie Bear’s Isabelle Collection.
Wilbur is a fully jointed, contemporary character bear. He has been sewn from a mix of luxurious, shaggy long-pile mohair, in white with a see-through sand backing and honey, with a white alpaca muzzle, tactile faux suede, stitch padded and shaded palms, plus flat soles for pose-ability. He has endearing, white enhanced, glossy black eyes and a hand stitched honey nose, with colour shading to define and shape his appealing face. In finishing, he wears a matching knitted hat and striped scarf in green and cream all interwoven with gold metallic thread, plus a wide, white brim, silk tassels, bead embellishment and wonderful tassel-button flowers.
