This wonderful Faithful Friend is by Sawley Fine Arts and a gorgeous forever companion, who can be found across northern Europe. It’s the Tawny Owl.
The Tawny Owl is a 30.5 cm / 12″ soft toy bird, part-filled with beans, for that comforting, cuddly appeal. He has been sewn from a luxuriously soft and dense, beige plush featuring a cocoa and white, pattern print, with plain beige and velvety-touch, yellow accents for his clawed feet and beak, whilst endearing, two-tone brown safety eyes, shine above delicately applied hand shading defining his face, blended torso and claws.
Handmade using all new materials (100% polyester fibre). Hand surface wash only.

I have always included a hand personalised note and have asked the child to look after his/her new friend. I sometimes wish I could add a few more words, although I have managed with 20, and have become creative with my use of words!
I love my brown bear. His fur is so soft and strokable and he looks so realistic, lying on my bed. His posture is just like a real bear would lie and he has the contoured body shape of a real bear, too. Just a shame that he's been declawed!
