This chatty, people friendly parrot is an inhabitant of South Africa. He is known as the Blue and Yellow or the Blue and Gold. It’s the Macaw, depicted by the masters of realism, Hansa.
The Macaw is a L40 cm x W11 cm x H16 cm (15.7×4.3″x6.2″), plush soft toy. He has been sewn from a mix of luxurious plush, to resemble that of his living counterpart. This macaw has a genuine realistic form and has been crafted from a velvety-smooth short-pile in yellow, royal blue and white, with woven accents for his beak and lower limbs. In comparison, he has glossy two-tone white safety eyes, whilst hand applied painting and shading, has been used to define, his face and lower limbs, shape his beak and blend his torso, with detail for his magnificent feathered plumage, attributed to creative feathered markings. All this and he is still wonderfully soft and cuddly, with a delightfully tactile touch.
He has internal supports to retain his pose.
