Donald Duck first appeared in The Wise Little Hen in 1934, which was an episode of Walt Disney’s Silly Symphonies series of cartoons. Donald is ill-tempered, very clever and the most chivalrous cartoon duck, second only in popularity to his most famous friend Mickey Mouse.
Donald Duck is made by Steiff using the finest RMS mohair with yellow felted cotton for his legs, webbed feet and open beak, his large expressive eyes are embroidered. He is wearing his iconic blue sailors shirt with 4 felt buttons and black bow tie, to complete his famous look is his sailors hat with its ribbon streamer at the back.
Donald will stand unaided due to an internal frame work.

This particular bear is very well made, has an adorable face, very soft to the touch, is very much loved by my 6yrs old granddaughter who takes it everywhere with her. I’m so impressed with the teddy that I’m seriously considering buying one for myself to sit on the bed. It is well worth the price. I also bought the passport to go with it.
