Mirroring the look of this years Christmas Bear is Soya Unicorn, a proud emblem of founder Margarete Steiff’s hometown of Giengen in Germany and an iconic being of myth and legend. Soya too is from the ‘Teddies of Tomorrow’ series, reminding us that recycling materials into durable fabrics and by using natural materials, for specific needs is kinder to our environment and better for our future. Introducing Soya Unicorn, courtesy of the German, master teddy bear maker, Steiff.
Soya is a magical, non-jointed unicorn with articulated wires concealed within her legs and tail for supportive posing. She has been sewn from a soft and silky, textured snow white bamboo-viscose plush, with a long-pile linen plush for her fabulous mane and tail, whilst being lovingly stuffed with corn fibre. She has shaped hooves, crafted from gleaming gold faux leather with a matching horn, wound with a glittering twirl, even her twinkling safety eyes are two-tone gold. Her delicate facial features have been created and accentuated, with minimal, hand applied painting and blush shading, including her sweet ears, bringing charm and appeal with their own spell. Like all ‘Teddies for Tomorrow’, she has a large, highly polished, round brass chest tag, featuring the Steiff company logo from 1897. A magical heirloom piece that can be enjoyed by the family year after year.
Soya is a Worldwide Limited Edition of only 2020 pieces and will come to you boxed, with her numbered certificate of authenticity.

Bit bigger than we thought thou. We have a much loved Percy Russ Rabbit that is falling apart so thought that the Burr rabbit might do as only couple of inches diff but although she likes him, he is no replacement!!!
