Grey squirrels are native to North America, but have since been imported within Europe and the UK. The dwell in woodland and are primarily dependent upon the seeds of beech, walnut, hazel, oak and sweet chestnut. This beautiful Grey Squirrel, is named Lil’ Peanut and is from the award winning, American, soft toy company, Bearington.
Lil’ Peanut is a 7″ / 17.8cm, soft toy squirrel. He has been sewn from two gorgeously soft and dense, close-pile plush in pale-grey and white, with a magnificent, fluffy long-pile tan, grey and white tail, plus velvety-grey accents for his wee inner ears. He has gleaming, black safety eyes emphasised with white surrounds, plus a wee stitched nose with minimal airbrush shading, to shape and define his face, ears and paws. All of this and he been gently stuffed with premium, soft poly fill, whilst also being part-bean filled for that tactile, must-have, squidgy soft feel. Just gorgeous.
