Somewhat of nature’s oddity, is the semi aquatic, duck-billed, otter-footed and beaver-tailed Platypus, depicted by the masters of realism, Hansa.
The Platypus is a L38 cm x W31 cm x H10 cm (14.9″x12.2″x3.9″), plush soft toy. He has been sewn from a mix of luxurious plush, to resemble that of his living counterpart. This platypus has a genuine realistic form and has been crafted from a dense, chestnut-tipped grey, with woven accents for his magnificent bill and webbed feet. He has glossy two-tone brown safety eyes, enhanced with white, whilst hand applied painting and shading, has been used to magnificently define his eyes, fabulous bill, webbed feet and colour his paddle (tail). All this and he is still wonderfully soft and cuddly, with a delightfully tactile touch.
He has internal supports to retain his pose.
