This friendly teddy bear from Merrythought is inspired by the real Canadian black bear who played an important role in the history of A. A. Milne’s beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories.
Measuring 33cm and 5 way jointed, she is lovingly handmade from the softest jet-black alpaca plush and paired with a warm fawn-coloured muzzle. Winnipeg features delicate embroidered detailing on her paws, captivating lifelike eyes, and a gentle, cheerful smile. Each bear is individually numbered as part of a limited edition of just 1926 pieces, marking the year Winnie-the-Pooh was first published, and is beautifully presented in a pure cotton dust bag with a Certificate of Authenticity — a truly special collector’s piece.
