This gorgeous teddy bear is approx 16 inch, fully jointed soft toy, with internal music box, made by the traditional English bear makers, Merrythought. He is made from a soft golden mohair with contrasting velveteen paw pads. Surface wipeable only
Merrythought teddy bears are designed to be enjoyed by all whether children or collectors. We aim to promote the idea of giving a young child a teddy bear that will become his or her companion for life so a Merrythought teddy bear makes the perfect gift for a grandchild.
Originally Merrythought teddy bears had glass eyes (from 1930 onwards) but our bears are now made with plastic safety eyes. Our teddy bears are safety tested and suitable for children although it is advised that any accessories (such as labels, ribbons, clothing) are removed before giving to small children.
