Welcome the spectacular Peter Rabbit, in all his glory as depicted by Beatrix Potter and crafted by R John Wright. He was originally released in 2000 and is a Worldwide Limited Edition of just 2,500 pieces.
Peter is 12″ / 30.5 cm in size and fully jointed. His remarkable, physical ‘rabbit’ shape is down to hours of research, resulting in life-like contoured back legs and paws with gently bent limbs, lovingly stuffed with soft cotton and pellets for that genuine, cuddly feel and quality weight. He has been sewn from a gorgeously dense, custom woven, luxury mohair plush that has been meticulously colour shaded to define and create the magical being before you, not only to his limbs and torso, but to his charismatic face (including those very alert ears).
His glossy, black glass eyes have been outlined to enhance his glorious gaze, whilst dainty hand stitched features complete him. Now to those accessories – a woven wool felt collared coat with pockets and a trio of flat, brass buttons, fantastically precise hand-made leather slippers that any cobbler would be proud of and to finish, he carries a detailed wool felt radish with intricate leaves. A fabulous Masterpiece!
Peter comes in his bespoke, RJW deluxe box with his matching numbered Certificate of Authenticity and makers label.
