Wittie is a non-jointed, plush toy ‘Light at Night’ owl. He has been sewn from a luxuriously soft and dense white plush, with a tonal grey for his ‘spotted plumage’, a fluffy white face and velvety smooth accents for his shaped beak and digit defined talons. Upon his tummy are three assorted sized stars, embroidered with glow-in-the-dark thread, whilst his glossy two-tone black safety eyes, are also glow-in-the-dark, adding to the magic. After lights out, the gentle glow will soothe your child, for up to 20 minutes, long enough for them to be dreaming.
Wittie wears his Steiff button-in-ear (in his right wing), with a yellow label and is machine washable at 30c.

The bear is great but we cannot understand why his legs are not articulated. It is impossible to get him to sit down which is a little disappointing. That is not to say that overall we are delighted with the purchase.
