In collaboration with Universal Studios, Steiff have recreated Kevin, one of Gru’s minions from the Despicable Me franchise. Just in case you don’t remember, the minions are loyal to their leader, yet unpredictable as to their competence and intelligence, in fulfilling what’s asked of them. However they do it, they’ll be accidents, mayhem and madness. In short, a lot of fun!
Kevin is 25 cm / 9.8″ in size and non-jointed. He has been sewn from a luxurious, specially dyed, short-pile yellow mohair, wearing his must-have denim dungarees, complete with the G logo for Gru upon his bib pocket. He wears faux leather gloves, highlighting his three digit hands, with the fabric matching the top of his shoes, complete with chunky soles. His embroidered smile sits just below his ‘silver’ goggles, that look as though the lens enlarges his embroidered brown eyes … but who really knows. To finish, a few thin strands give him a tuft of hair for the top of his head. This cheeky fellow is sure to bring a grin.
Kevin’s friend Bob is the perfect companion for him to cause trouble with.
