With inspiration taken from a design used for a 1932 cinema release, Steiff in collaboration with Swarovski, bring you a more diminutive Walt Disney 1932 Minnie Mouse as a Key Ring.
Minnie is 12 cm/ 4.7″ in size and non-jointed. Like her larger contemporary, she too has been sewn from luxurious Trevira Velvet in black and white, with white polka dots upon red for her skirt and tan for her boots. She has a long cord tail and distinctive features that have been hand embroidered into place. Unlike her contemporary however, instead of bows upon her boots, she has two glistening flower shaped Swarovski Crystals, along with an Exclusive, sparkling Xillion clear Swarovski Crystal in place of her gold plated ‘button in the ear’. We’re not finished yet, with a nod to modern times, Minnie wears two red, shaped twinkling Swarovski Crystal bows upon her head, in place of a hat. Finally, her Steiff engraved metal key ring, is attached securely to a material loop upon the top of her head. Just magic!
Not only can you place Minnie on a hook or branch, you can attach her to your bag or keys or leave her as a delightful miniature, by simply removing the ring.
This piece of Disney history is from Steiff’s Selection Range (note the white tag, with grey print), meaning she has been crafted from extra special materials with contemporary styling.
