The final instalment from the Wizard of Oz series is this amazing 30cm Wool Felt Teddy Bear – The Tin Man, marvellously crafted by Steiff for their 2015 Spring/Summer Collection.The Tin Man is fully jointed and sewn from the finest wool felt with much attention to detail paid, to his put together appearance. In following the Yellow Brick Road, Dorothy hopes to find the Emerald City and the Wizard who will be able to send her home. During her travels she comes across three remarkable characters, the first being the Cowardly Lion who seeks courage, the second being the Scarecrow who only wants a brain and finally, the Tin Man who desparately wants a heart. The four band together in defeating the Wicked Witch of the West and make their way to Emerald City for an audience with the reknown Wizard, only to discover that what they sought had been with them all along. The Tin Man indeed had a heart and it showed in him being the most feeling and emotional of Dorothys companions.
The Tin Man is a fascinating 30cm, fully jointed Teddy Bear compiled of the most luxurious wool felt. He has a funnel for a hat plus rivet buttons, giving an almost robotic appearance to the handmade metal man. He has bright blue eyes, plus a working red heart, watch pendant, hangs down around his neck. He has a beating heart after all! This remarkable Masterpiece is a UK, Ireland and North American Exclusive of 1,939 (year of films release) pieces and will come to you boxed with his numbered certificate of authenticity.
