This characterful 35cm tall, Mohair Steiff Teddy Bear with Growler, is a 1908 Replica piece, and is the last in the series of the reknowned, four coloured samples sent to England. 1908 Replica is fully jointed and made from black mohair upon white backing. This was a gift so I haven’t seen it in person yet but the recipient thought it was a lovely toy for a new born baby for when she is a bit bigger that she would treasure. From the pictures, I thought it was really cute and cuddly.
So cute! Lovely stuffed animal.
Bought for first birthday present and only two weeks later is not far from my granddaughter's side. It's already well loved and continually cuddled which is exactly what I bought it for. He's soft, well made and has enough weight in his body for his to sit if wanted - he's perfect.
I have now completed my set. Excellent
